Europa Prefabri will take part in the Master Mutua Madrid Tennis Open once again

Our company will supply prefabricated modules and modular kiosks for the event in its 2018 edition.

Madrid Trophy Promotion, S.L. has once again placed its trust in Europa Prefabri for the supply of portable modular kiosks. The Master Mutua Madrid Tennis Open will take place from the 4^th to the 13^th May at the Caja Magica venue in Madrid, one of the most modern tennis facilities in the world.

On this occasion, we will supply and install two portable modular kiosks, dimensions 6.00m and 4.00m. These special modules have folding doors on the front and an internal counter designed to use as a ticket office. The structure and the sandwich panels will be painted in corporate blue, using a special paint. Europa Prefabri will also supply 6.00m portable cabins for the television channels that will broadcast the tournament, as well as a as a 2.40 m security guard cabin.

The Master Mutua Madrid Open will bring together once again the world’s tennis stars and the 2018 edition will be the fifth consecutive one in which the organization trusts Europa Prefabri for the installation of portable cabins.

Repsol awards Europa Prefabri for the supply of portable cabins for its technical shutdown

Europa Prefabri has been awarded the bid for the supply of portacabin for the technical shutdown of the Industrial Complex of Repsol Petróleo in Puertollano (Ciudad Real) in 2018.

Europa Prefabri will provide Repsol with the necessary personnel and resources for the installation of eight 6.00 x 2.40 m portable cabins. The portable cabins are equipped with air conditioning with heat pump and will be used for dining facilities and offices at Repsol’s installations.

Works are scheduled to start in April this year. The portable cabins will be installed according to Repsol’s needs in each of the units that are operated on during the shutdown.

This year, Repsol shutdown will last 2 months and will allow the company to carry out inspection and maintenance works on more than a thousand units. With this shutdown, Repsol will also improve its energy efficiency. To this end, Europa Prefabri will provide portable offices equipped with furniture (office and meeting tables and chairs, filing cabinets, shelves, blackboards, litter bins, etc.), as well dining portable cabins, that come with a dining table and benches.

For events like this, our prefabricated portacabin are the ideal solution thanks to its fast assembly and space efficiency. The versatility of our portable cabins allows us to create spaces adapted to each project requirements, by its attachment in line or in height, quickly and easily.

Security Portable Cabin for a photovoltaic power plant I Europa Prefabri

Europa Prefabri Group has carried out a new modular construction project applied to industrial solutions in Valencia. On this occasion, we installed two security portable cabins that will be used by the engineers of this photovoltaic plant to monitor the operation and production of the solar panels of the plant.

Our prefabricated solutions are ideal for this type of usages, given the advantages they offer with regard to traditional construction: logistical ease, quick installation of the structures, the minimal need of civil works and the modulation of spaces.

In this case, each of the security portable cabins is composed of a set of modules formed by two prefabricated diaphanous modules assembled. We used modules of 6,00×2,35m so the surface of each portable cabin goes up to 30m2. The security cabins are divided into two distinct areas: a working area for the engineers and a storage area for materials and control devices, which are connected by a sliding door. In the storage area, the floor structure has been reinforced to support a maximum load of 1200kg/m2 uniformly distributed. The modules were installed directly by Europa Prefabri with two technicians on site.

Technical specifications of the project: Security Portable Cabins for a photovoltaic power plant

Floor structure

The floor structure frame is formed by 2 vertical and 2 horizontal galvanized sheet profiles mm shaped in cold. There are OMEGA galvanized steel straps placed transversally achieving major stability supporting vibrations and heavy load. These straps support a water resistant phenolic plywood of 18mm thickness covered with grey PVC vinyl covering.

The floor structure described supports up to 250 kg/m2 uniformly distributed. We reinforced the floor structure in the storage area to a maximum load of 1200kg/m2.

Roof structure

The roof structure is formed by 2 vertical and 2 horizontal galvanized profiles shaped in cold. There are OMEGA galvanized steel straps placed transversally. These Omega steel straps support a trapezoidal galvanized metal sheet of 0.6mm thickness.

Columns

The columns are formed by asymmetric galvanized steel profiles shaped in cold of 2.00mm thickness. The columns are screwed to the floor structure and roof structure using special screws. There is a round PVC pipe with the diameter of 75mm serving as a gutter hidden in the interior of the column. The column is finished on its interior with a lacquered sheet that fastens the electrical mechanisms, plugs, switches and electric protection panel.

Side walls

The lateral closure is composed of sandwich panels, of 40 mm thickness. These sandwich panels are made of a two sided lacquered sheet on a galvanized base and count with intermediate thermal and acoustic isolation. In terms of fire resistance, this kind of panel has been classified as M2 material, which means it is highly fire resistant. It has been proven to be highly resistant to water, remaining unalterable over time.

False ceiling

The false ceiling is formed by galvanized and pre-lacquered metallic blades in white silicone polyester (0.5mm thickness). Between the false ceiling and the roof plate is placed an 80mm insulation fiberglass blade with vapour barriers.

The internal free height of these modules is 2.475 mm.

External and internal carpentry

The external and internal carpentry of the security portable cabins is manufactured in PVC or aluminium profiles lacquered in white.

The named carpentry consists of:

Exterior door 815x2060mm with a handle and a lock.
Interior sliding door 1200x2300mm with a handle.

Electrical installation

The electrical installation system is complete except for the electrical line up to the location of the module. All the electrical system and installations are adapted to the safety requirements.

Electrical supply is connected to the electrical box with an independent protection via magneto-thermal switches and switches necessary for lighting, emergency devices (in case of having ones), air conditioning and other uses. The box is protected against the direct and indirect contacts, over current or short circuit:

In addition, we carried out the complete installation of voice and data supplies for the security portable cabins.

Prefabricated work camp for Kolpa in Peru I Alquimodul

Alquimodul, our subsidiary group company in Peru, has completed a new modular construction project in South America. On this occasion, they have set up a modular work camp and site office for Kolpa in Peru.

We are glad to present you a new work camp and site office project we carried out four our client Compañía Minera Kolpa. We made the installation in just three weeks in the mining unit located in the Huachocolpa District, Huancavelica province. It is a building composed of en suite bedrooms for the engineers.

The structure of the work camp and prefabricated modules, have been custom designed in this project. We paid special attention to the location and in compliance with seismic resistance regulations. In addition, although we have only installed the first level for now, the modules are calculated to support up to 03 levels, which we designed with the aim of making possible an increase of the number of rooms when the production circumstances in the mine require it.

The materials and finishes chosen for this work camp and site office are made of the highest quality, in compliance with the standards used in the main mining companies in the country. We paid special attention to the thermal insulation of the building due to its location in an extreme cold zone. For this reason, we installed double insulated glass windows, as well as two sandwich panel covers with high-density polyurethane foam insulation, which guarantees maximum thermal insulation and comfort inside the rooms.

Other projects carried out by Alquimodul

Modular work camp at Trujillo for a mining unit. Our thermo-acoustic panels are ideal for this work camp. They protect both from the cold and also from the usual heat of the region. The camp consists of several office and bedroom modules.
Modular offices for MUNA: supply in a rental basis of the camp for the MUNA Construction Consortium, which is in charge of the construction of the National Museum of Archaeology (MUNA). The aim of the Museum is the protection of Peruvian cultural heritage. The job is valued at 406 millions and will last two years. We have manufactured and assembled more than 750m2 of offices divided into two buildings; one for the engineers working on the project and the other one for other usages, such as guard cabins or warehouses. Turnkey construction and assembly of the camp took less than two months.
Work camp in Arequipa: composed of bedrooms for workers made of standard prefabricated modules. Temperatures in the area drop below -10ºC, which is why the customer has chosen our modules insulated with polyurethane panels.

Prefabricated offices for the University of Alicante | Prefabri

We carried out the supply, transport and assembly of a prefabricated modular office building for the University of Alicante in 3 weeks, on a rental basis.

The modular office building consist of 41 prefabricated modules, covering a total area of 600 m2.

In addition, we have installed 22 air conditioning systems type split 4000 BTU/hr.

These modules will be used as university offices during the construction works of the new offices.

Europa Prefabri has made the installation of all electrical, voice and data supplies in the modular office building. We even carried out the installation of the electricity towers from the University to the location of the modules.

The prefabricated modular office building for the University of Alicante has been made under a project approved by the College of Architects of Alicante in compliance with the current regulations.

Europa Prefabri carries out carport projects for large surfaces (supermarkets, airports, train stations, factories, shopping malls, public institutions) and private parking canopies (homeowner’s community, chalets…). We have also carried out projects of special canopies for golf courses and for covering the stands of football stadiums.

Parking canopies for large surfaces

Over 30 years we have carried out large projects. We have installed car parking shade for airports (Madrid, Malaga, San Javier); for train and tram stations (Elche railway station, tram depots in Ouargla, Algeria); for large supermarkets, such as the projects carried out for Lidl, E.Lecrec, Simply, Carrefour… and for public institutions, such as those that we carried out for the Navarra Police Force, the Spanish Navy or the Carlos III Institute.

Parking canopies for supermarkets and shopping malls

Transportation and assembly of parking canopies with Alucobond for Lidl, where we installed 133 parking spots, with 80 simple spots and 53 double spots.

Design, transportation and assembly of parking canopies for the supermarket chain E.Lecrec at Norbonne, France. This is a full-hot-galvanized canopy, with a special height for vehicles with roof rack and campers (that are really popular in France).

Manufacture and installation of parking canopies for Simply Supermarkets in Tortosa, Tarragona. In this project, we installed 79 canopies with our model Europa in its double version.

We carried out the manufacture and installation of parking canopies for Carrefour in Las Rozas, as part of the refurbishment works of the Shopping Mall El Pinar. The owner company, Carrefour Property, awarded us all the works to be carried out in the parking lot including the manufacture and installation of new canopies along with the conditioning of those already installed, signposting, painting…

We installed 250 carports for the Shopping Centre Abadía de Toledo with our tensile canopy.

Parking canopies for airports

Design, transport and assembly of parking canopies for Madrid Barajas Airport: 1.300 parking spaces, on which we previously carried out the dissembling of more than 1.200 spaces and the cleaning of the area. Works developed in 4 phases: installation of tensile canopy, installation of carports for a VIP parking, a pedestrian walkway…

Design, transportation and assembly of car parking shade for AENA at Málaga’s Airport, where we installed 90 cantilever carports model “OLA”, with a wave shaped roof. The distribution was of two simple modules, the first for 59 spaces and the second for 31 spaces. We also assembled three special parking canopies to cover the entrance and exit barriers of the parking, as well as another special canopy to cover the ATM.

We carried out the design and installation of 1.200 parking canopies for San Javier Airport at Murcia. In this case, our client chose the “OLA” model.

Parking canopies for train and tram stations

Design, transportation and assembly of parking canopies for Ouargla’s train station parking, in Algeria. We covered 161 parking spaces in 8 groups for standard cars, 12 parking spaces for special cars for people with reduced mobility and 20 spaces for motorcycles.

Fabrication, design and installation of parking canopies for the new AVE railway station at Elche, Alicante. On this occasion, we carried out the installation of 96 canopies, being 90 of them standard canopies, 14 single and 76 double. Besides, there are 6 spaces with special dimensions for people with reduced mobility.

Parking canopies for factories

We have developed the manufacturing, design and assembly of a cantilever carport project for San Miguel’s beer factory at Málaga, which has a surface of 60 000 m² and produces 2,5 millions of hectoliters per year.

We have carried out the design, fabrication, transportation and installation of a new group of parking canopies for Metalogenia at Huesca. In this case, we installed our IPE model.

We have developed the manufacturing, design and assembly of 56 car parking shade for Bosch factory at Madrid.

Parking canopies for public buildings

To protect cars from climate conditions we have assembled custom parking canopies model Europa type Y for Navarra’s Police Force. We installed the canopies, which we had previously manufactured them in our facilities, in 3 days.

First quality cold forming sheet with a fold for an inside maximum reinforcement, in order to get a metal box beam along the whole porch.
Roof made of red lacquered sheet and painted brackets (colors following customers’ requests).
Fastening to the porch’s roof through galvanized self-tapping screws with washers.

40 park spaces distributed in two double groups of 20 spaces each (10+10).

We installed more than 90 parking canopies for the Carlos III Institute at Majadahonda. In this case, we assembled various groups (single and double) of our Europa model, painted in maroon.

We carried out the fabrication and installation of parking canopies for the Spanish Navy. The brackets chosen were of the B model, with a small back heel that does not hinder to park comfortably, but gives the canopy greater aesthetics. The client chose a stone grey lacquered cover finishing and painted structure with grey oxidized, plus two coats of anti-phosphate and antioxidant primer.

Parking canopies for residential areas

We have developed the fabrication, design and installation of parking canopies for a homeowner’s community in Benidorm. This project is a new expansion, completing that already implemented in May, with a total of 32 single parking spaces divided into two group. In July 2016, we had already installed 96 double parking spaces, divided into two groups, and in 2015, we had assembled 27 parking spots.

We have manufactured, designed and assembled a project of parking canopies for a homeowner’s community at Alicante. On this occasion, 149 simple parking spots have been installed in 17 different modules with a plastic composite roof, ideal for marine environments. All the structure is hot galvanized and has a guarantee of 10 years in the coast areas. These parking canopies are the best solution for homeowner’s communities and enterprises located close to the coastline in order to protect their cars.

Special canopies

We also develop special canopies and metallic covers.

Europa Prefabri carried out the design, fabrication and installation of metallic shelters to cover the football stadium bleachers of Morata de Tajuña, located in the community of Madrid. We installed these shelters to protect the crowd from the weather conditions.

Manufacture and assembly of a special metallic structure canopy with a pyramidal shape, custom design for the golf practice area of RACE, at Alcobendas.

Manufacture and installation of cantilever carports for the golf camp at the Zaragoza Air Base.

We have carried out the fabrication and installation of a special cantilever carport that will serve as a service station for buses stationed at the South Bus Station, in Méndez Álvaro, in Madrid. We manufactured and assembled the galvanized structure in a short period of time and included auctions and special painting required by the client.

All the materials are detachable; they can also be easily assembled. The outcome is an aesthetical and functional parking canopy.

New project of parking shade at Barajas Airport for Europcar and Rentacar | ET Europa

Our company is carrying out two new projects for pedestrian walkways and parking shade at Barajas airport. We are assembling 5980 m2 of parking shade and canopies and 399 m2 of pedestrian walkway for Rentacar. We have also installed a textile parking shade for Europcar, which will provide a parking shade area while customers wait to receive their rented vehicle.
